Mixed-Use High Rise.

Semester 6

The 1695 Bayly St project is an innovative solution for the suburbs, creating a balanced place for people to work, play, and enjoy elements of new urbanism in a slower environment. Promoting a healthy lifestyle for those who wish to live in a place where everything you need is at your fingertips.

Semester 5

Building a green home from the ground up gives you the perfect opportunity to do everything the right way from the very beginning. On this project we focused on using the site to our advantage when considering sun and shading, which developed the layout of spaces and the buildings height – and eventually led to multiple flat roofs to maximize passive solar gain in every season.

The Equestrian Centre project was fun, complex solution to your typical stable facility. The objective of this project was to research how horse ranches function, and explore solutions while incorporating our own signature designs.

Luxury Genesis Showroom.

Semester 4

This commercial project, taken on in a sleek concrete construction, showcases just how quickly I can develop using a new program. The Genesis project incorporates a variety of Revit Families and construction details, displaying the best of my abilities by the end of my second year at Durham College.

Cross Roads Church.

Semester 4

Cross Roads Church is a collaborative project designed by Durham College students, Caleb Newman & Jessica Rasenberg. This expressive church is carefully designed with function in mind, considering the five points of Architecture, lending to a geometric and effective design.

Contemporary House.

Semester 3

This modern style home was designed as an

introductory to Autodesk's Revit, and helped develop basic skills within the BIM context.

This was one of the first times we created 3D models and rendered our projects.

New Detached Garage.

Independent

A project I was hired to take on with a local contractor to create drawings to renovate the foundation of an existing house, and design a new two-car, detached garage.

Single Family House.

Semester 2

The Single Family House project was a summary of what we had learned in our first year at Durham College. It incorporated methods of manual artistry including, familiarizing ourselves with our tools, line weights, and perspective drawings - all while achieving a complete design from scratch and adhering to a design brief.

Family House Renovation.

This 1970's home was in need of expansion for a growing family. Our job was to expand the footprint of this house to accommodate the modern family, while sticking to conservative methods of rejuvenation.
